Source: Derived from the whole fungus of Bovista lycoperdon (puffball mushroom), a member of. the  Agaricaceae  family,  prepared  for  homeopathic  use  through  potentization  involving  serial. dilution and succussion. Traditional Context : Historically employed in homeopathy for  hemorrhagic, dermatological,. and neurological disorders , particularly those involving bleeding tendencies, skin eruptions, and. mental dullness. It is noted for symptoms such as epistaxis, metrorrhagia, urticaria, and clumsiness,. often aggravated by warmth, menses, or full moon, and ameliorated by cool air, rest, or eating. Modern  Context:  Indicated  for  hemorrhagic  conditions (e.g.,  epistaxis,  menorrhagia),. dermatological  disorders (e.g.,  urticaria,  eczema),  neurological  complaints (e.g.,  vertigo,. coordination issues), and psychological conditions (e.g., mental dullness, mild depression). It suits. patients with acute or chronic symptoms characterized by  bleeding tendencies ,  skin eruptions ,. clumsiness, and  mental fog , typically exacerbated by warmth, hormonal changes, or emotional. stress, and often seen in individuals with a history of recurrent bleeding, allergic skin conditions, or. neurological sensitivity. The remedy is particularly relevant for those with a sensitive, sluggish. constitution, often presenting with physical symptoms like hives or nosebleeds alongside emotional. traits  like  apathy  or  confusion,  commonly  observed  in  women  with  menstrual  irregularities,. individuals  with  allergic  tendencies,  or  patients  with  chronic  dermatological  or  hemorrhagic. complaints.
