Voice stronger and deeper as soon as fever \nheat abates, in evening. \nCOMMENTS - Calendula, largely diluted with water, is highly esteemed by many physicians as a dressing for \nlacerated wounds, ulcers, and burns. Burns are dressed by applying muslin cloth saturated with dilut e \ncalendula night and morning. The cloth should be kept constantly saturated with the agent. It is also used an \ninjection in vaginal and uterine leucorrhoea. \nUseful for surgeries, given before and after. Hemorrhage, cuts that keep bleed ing and won't heal.  Sharp \nstinging, cutting feelings, redness and rawness. Very good for preventing septic wounds (Pyrog., once septic \nsituations have set in). Torn or wounded muscles. Bedsores. \nHansen noted it for open wounds, very sore and painful, difficult granulation, t endency to inflammation and \nsuppuration. Useful for burns when applied topically (Canth., Urt-u.). It prevented suppuration and pyemia. In some \ncases of carbuncle it acts with great promptitude, subduing pain and fever. In obstetric practice it is invaluable. \nCalen, as been used in Germany in tincture on cancer areas.
