Source: Derived from the fresh flowering tops of Calendula officinalis (common marigold), a plant. in the Asteraceae family, prepared for homeopathic use through potentization involving maceration,. serial dilution, and succussion. Traditional Context: Historically employed in homeopathy for wound healing, tissue repair, and. inflammatory conditions , particularly those involving cuts, burns, or lacerations. - Bitter phlegm in mouth.

### Throat
- Scalds, burns of throat.

- COMMENTS - Calendula, largely diluted with water, is highly esteemed by many physicians as a dressing for 
lacerated wounds, ulcers, and burns.
- Burns are dressed by applying muslin cloth saturated with dilut e 
calendula night and morning.
- The cloth should be kept constantly saturated with the agent.
- It is also used an 
injection in vaginal and uterine leucorrhoea.
- Useful for surgeries, given before and after.
