# Coffea Tosta

## Keynote Indications
The symptoms of Coff -t. have been principally obtained from sensi tive persons on whom 
strong coffee has acted injuriously and the clinical uses have been mainly based on these. But there is a 
definite and extensive proving of Coff -t. given in Allen. While it is often given in the form of black coffee, it is 
also available for use in the potencies. 
Coff-t. is serviceable against both cold and heat. Beneficial to persons who live in the open air. Toothache, 
better by cold (Coff.), “cold water better intense pain in sound teeth of right lowerjaw.” Clarke has several 
times cured a toothache like this with Coff. 30c. 
Heart disorders with troublesome palpitations from heart-irritability and in general nervous excitement. Tense 
arteries. Periodic headaches in hysterical women. Nervous and gastric headaches. 
Vomiting on least exertion. Diarrhea from overwork and too much care. Gout and rheu matism with tendency 
to form chalkstone. Labor pains are intolerable.  Useful in con finements to relieve the excess o f suffering 
which some women experience. 
Body and mind excessively sensitive. Looks exhausted, retires to lonely and dark places and closes eyes in 
order to avoid light. Least noise or motion excites pains. Avoids talking or being talked to or hearing othe rs 
talk. Body colder than usual, although no chills are experienced. Hands and feet very cold.

### Vertigo
- Vertigo comes in attacks.
- Vertigo with obscured vision, unable to distinguish surrounding objects.
- Vertigo with ringing 
in ears and noise as of falling rain.
- Vertigo, suddenly falls to the ground insensible.
- Vertigo with palpitation of 
heart.
- Vertigo with easy vomiting and paleness of face during paroxysms.
- COMMENTS - Its value is well known as an allopathic antidote to opium and its derivatives in poisonous doses.
- Additionally, it counteracts the effects of Nux-v., Bell., Coloc., Valer., Cic., Cham., Phos, Ph-ac., lead.
- Salts of 
Antimony, narcotic mushrooms, poisonous sumac, tobacco, bitter almonds, and prussic acid.
- On account of its extens ive antidotal prop erties coffee has largely been condemned by homeopathic 
practitioners, but it should be remembered that it does not antidote all remedies.

### Head
- Nervous and gastric headaches.
- Periodical headaches of hysterical women.
- Migraine coming on in 
morning shortly after awaking.
- Pains increasing little by little.
- Pains become intolerable.
- Burning pains.
- Coffee 
and caffeine headaches (Cham.).
- Scalp sensitive, hurts when touched ever so slightly.
- Headaches come on 
irregularly, without premonitory symptoms.
- If headache attack is very violent, vomiting of mucus, which doesn't 
diminish the pain.
- Headaches worse least 
noise or motion.
- Nervous and gastric headaches.
- Periodical headaches of hysterical women.

- Shining bright eyes during labor.
- Sees dazzling colors, principally blue and yellow, before eyes.

### Ears
- Ringing and noises as if falling rain, during vertigo.

### Face
- Pale face during v ertigo with faint ing.
- Face hot and deeply flushed, during labor.
- Excruciating facial 
neuralgia from decayed teeth.

### Chest
- Palpitations from irritable heart.
- Small and frequent pulse, during labor.
- Arteries tense.
- Kidneys - Assists the passage of gravel and small urinary calculi, and impedes their further formation in 
bladder.
- Catarrh of bladder, especially of old debauchees.
- Diabetes mellitus.
- Spasmodic asthma.
- Asthma thy- micum.
- Whooping cough.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Tight feeling in stomach after eating.
- Cramp of stomach.
- Vom its without least exertion.
- Epidemic 
cholera, particularly against the weakening vomiting and tormenting thirst, and it was useful in subduing the 
premonitory symptoms.
- Teeth - Intense pain in sound teeth of right lower jaw nearly driving him crazy.
- No ap plication relieves except 
cold water in mouth.
- Toothache returns as water becomes warm.
- Premature decay of teeth in children.
- Temperature - Feels chilly, without being cold, and trembles.
- Intermittent fever.
- Continued fever with 
disposition to diar rhea.
- I nflammatory fever in children with excitability, starting and twitching in sleep, 
restlessness and crying.
- Cramplike drawing pains in umbilical region with severe pains in lumbar region.
- Pains in abdomen 
during labor.
- Loathes all food and drinks on account of continual nausea.

### Urinary & Genital
- Seminal emission at 3 a.m.
- Seminal emission with voluptuous itching, followed by chill and cold, clammy 
sweat.
- Very severe labor pains.
- Patient becoming greatly excited, constant tossing about with violent 
movements of limbs, she complains of  the severity of pains and is sure she will die.
- After rupture of bag of 
waters, very severe pains in lumbar region.

### Extremities
- Gout and rheumatism, where there is a disposition to the formation of chalk- stones in joints.
- Pains in 
left shoulder-joint.
- Trembling of hands.
- Iliac pains.
- Pains in left foot and joint of big toe.

### Sleep
- Nervous andrestless sleep.
- Obstinate sleeplessness.
- Insomniafrom overactivity of the mind.
- Sleepless from sensitivity to noise, light.
