Pain at the back of the head is better from hot \napplications. \nMotion aggravates most symptoms, but alleviates muscular heart pains. Rising from a seat causes pain in the \nheart. Heaviness of the head is better from shaking the head. Lifting the arms causes trembling of the hands. \nPlaying the piano causes a tired sensation in the arms. \nJ. H. Nankivell drank two ounces of tincture of Gels, instead of a gla ss of sherry. He walked a few feet with \nassistance and in another minute his legs were paralyzed. He dragged himself to the bedside with his arms, \nbut they were unable to help him to bed into which he had to be lifted. \nAs long as he lay quiet there was no trouble, but on the least exertion there were excessive tremors. Vomiting \noccurred during the next twenty -four hours. Temperature rose to 101.5\u00b0 F. Heart's action very violent and \nintermittent. \nAll the muscles of the eyes were affected, but, of voluntary muscles, those of the right side suffered most. \nProlonged conversation involved paralysis of upper lip.
