Burning of palms and soles, under nail of left toe. \nArthur Dalzell reported the case of Mrs. B., 43, who had fibroid tuberculosis of both lungs, collapse of right \n \n \nlower lobe. Great prostration and night -sweats. The bowels were alternately relaxed and confined. Pain and \nstiffness in the back, bruised all over, dry cough, roughness of throat, weak heart sounds. Bad sleep owing to \na cough. \nLachn. tincture, three drops every four hours, was given. In three days the prostration was diminished and the \ncough was much bette r, night-sweats and bruised feeling gone. From this time an emulsion contain ing cod-\nliver oil, liquor pancreaticus, eggs, cream, hypophosphites and eucalyptus oil were given in addition. The case \nwent on to recovery. \nDalzell also recorded the case of Mrs. R., 45, who was in the last stage of tuberculosis. Right lung consolidated, \nleft in cavities. This patient had circumscribed flush on face, bril liant eyes, throat felt rough, overall bruised \nfeeling. Remittent fever. Skin dry, except at night, when she h ad profuse perspira tion. Constant dry cough. \nMuco-purulent expectoration. \nLachn. tincture, five drops every three hours, relieved all the symptoms and pro cured euthanasia, the patient \ndying quite easily twelve days later.","Head":"Head feels heavy.
