## Keynote Indications
Nat-c. was proved by Hahnemann and is one of the anti -psoric remedies. All the natmms 
stimulate cellular activity and increase oxidation and metabolism. It had been used in old -school practice as 
an external application in solution to bums and eczema, and as a douche in nasal or vaginal catarrh.  
The common practice of taking sodium bicarbonate for indigestion and heartbum is founded on a true 
relationship (though Nat-c. is the carbonate and not the bicarbonate), but the indiscriminate and excessive use 
of it only intensifies the trouble. 
Nat-c. forms the alkaline basis in most soaps, excess alkali almost bums off the superficial layers of the 
epidermis and leaves the skin dry and cracked. The provings confirm this irritating action. Nat-c. is particularly 
useful for chapped hands and faces, rough, dry skin, eczema, herpes, warts  
and scrofulous conditions of the skin. 
Swelling and induration of glands. Exhaustion. Emaciation, anemia. Milky, watery skin. Very weak ankles. 
Puffiness. Relaxation, easy dislocation. Twitching in the muscles and limbs. Contraction of muscles, tendons. 
Pains cause tremors, cold sweat, anxiety etc. 
Irritation of the mucus membranes. Irritation, vesicles, ulcers and catarrh in the digestive tract from the mouth 
to anus. Keratitis and ulceration of the cornea. The nose is swollen and ulcerated with a thick yellow or green 
offensive discharge. Thick, yellow, putrid leucorrhea (Sep.). 
Oversensitive to open air, music, noise and dietetic errors. Worse from any physi cal or mental exertion, 
strain, from the least effort, from sun and gaslight. Debility from heat of summer, every spell of warm weather 
causes headache. Chronic effects of sunstroke. Headache from sun or working under lights. 
Children when asleep, jump, cry, grasp the mother. Startled, nervous children. Children cannot tolerate milk 
but thrive better on cereals.
