## Keynote Indications
The symptoms are mostly derived from overdosings. Senn, is used as a laxative in ordinary 
practice. 
Senn, has proved an excellent remedy in the colicofinfantswith incarcerated flatulence and sleeplessness. 
Infantile colic, when the child seems to be full of wind. Constipation with colic and flatulence. Oxaluria with 
excess of urea increased specific gravity. Liver enlarged and tender. 
Exhaustion. General swelling. Ebullitions of blood at night. “Repeated sneezing, which caused heat (especially 
of hands), exhaustion and panting breathing.” Acetonemia, prostration, fainting. Unclean body swell.

## Symptoms by System

### Head
- Heaviness of the head when stooping, as if it were pressed down.
- Kidneys - Specific gravity and density increased.
- Hyperazoturia, oxaluria, phos- phaturia and acetonuria.

### Face
- Livid lips.
- Commissure of lips covered with small burning blisters.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Empty or watery and fetid, risings.

immediately after meals.
- COMMENTS - Farrington said it is one of the best remedies in the Materia Medica for “simple exhaustion with 
excess of nitrogenous waste.” The exhaustion is exemplified in the sinking immediately after meals.
- The pods caused an unclean smell from the body of a woman taking them for con stipation.
- Acts as a tonic 
where the system is broken down, bowels constipated, mus cular weakness and waste of nitrogenous 
materials.
- Sensation of coldness in the abdomen with emptiness and uneasiness in the stomach.
- Accumulation of flatus wit h grumbling and fermentation in the abdo men and discharge of fetid flatus.

especially in the case of infants.
