## Keynote Indications
Tax. is for pustular diseases of skin and night-sweats. Gout and chronic rheumatism. Pains 
in the knees, elbows and back. Slight tremor over whole frame. Trembling. Convulsions. Fainting and collapse. 
Relaxation of muscles. Cancer, chemotherapy effects.

## Modalities (Aggravations / Ameliorations)
Worse by pressure, by application of liquids. Worse before and after each meal. Worse after sex. 
Coughing causes headache. Deep breathing causes cough. Rubbing imp roves the itching of eyelids.

## Symptoms by System

### Mind
- Impatience, which unfits the patient for mental application.
- Delirium.
- Stupor.

### Head
- Supra-orbital and temporal pain on right side with lachrymation.
- Supra-orbital and temporal pain on right side with lachrymation.

### Eyes
- Pupils widely dilated.
- Drawing with lachrymation and pressure.
- Lachryma tion of left eye.
- Itching of 
external angle of left eye.
- Burning itching in eyelids.
- Vision dim.

### Ears
- Polyps in the ears.

### Face
- Puffy and pale.
- Looks ill.
- Face livid, convulsed.
- Lips are purplish, livid, black brown, especially upper.
- Frothing at mouth.

### Mouth
- Sensation of coldness in teeth.
- Mouth dry.
- Burning pricking on tongue.
- Tongue excoriated, moist, 
tremulous.
- Saliva hot, acrid.
- Saliva increased, extremely viscid, acrid.
- Bitter taste like that 
Taxus baccata of Cinchona.
- Nose - A round spot of a reddish-brown color, on the end of the nose with desquamation of skin.

### Chest
- Oppression, when stomach is either too full  or too empty or else with pain below xiphoid cartilage.
- Sharp pain in left side.
- Chest full and hot.
- Lungs engorged.
- Irregular action of heart.
- Pulse rapid, slow, feeble, small, wiry, almost imperceptible.
- Violent and fatiguing cough.
- Short cough after every meal, excited by full inspirations with oppression.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Feeling of emptiness,  must eat frequently.
- Violent hunger, soon after breakfast with general 
uneasiness and weakness in region of stomach.
- Aching, burning and pinching in region of stomach.
- Pain in 
pit of stomach and region of navel.
- After eating, cough.
- Feeling of pins and needles at pit of stomach.
- Nausea 
 
 
with accumulation of saliva.
- Retching.
- Vomiting ending in death.
- Vomit, tenacious, containing bile.
- Temperature - Perspiration from least ex ertion with great prostration of strength.
- Profuse night -sweats.
- Commencing with shivering followed by dry heat of hands and feet.
- Offensive viscid sweats with itching and 
redness.
- COMMENTS - The symptoms of the Tax.
- pathogenesis are made up of poisonings by leaves and berries and 
also of provings by Gastier.
- Fainting is a very prominen t feature with Tax.
- And, in the fatal cases there are 
convulsions, collapse and syncope.
- Death from yew poisoning, said Cooper, is remarkably painless.
- “Empty feeling” in the stomach was prominent 
and it was noted that the digestion was very rapid.
- “Must eat frequently.” Gastric catarrh is set up with vomiting 
of tenacious mucus.
- Increased saliva, viscid.
- Pustular skin affection.
- Large, flat, strongly itching pustules.
- Viscid sweat.
- Shooting pains in the toes.
- Gout.
- Irritation in the kidneys and bladder.
- Disturbed heart.

- has 
been recommended as a substitute for Dig., being considered superior to the latter in having no cumulative 
effect.
- On the suggestion of Cooper, Clarke once gave a single dose of Tax.
- tincture in a case of ear polyps (bright 
red) with catarrh in a youth with the result that the polyps shriveled up to one-third of its former size.
- Tension in abdomen, as if the stomach were overloaded.
- Squeezing and tension across abdomen.
- Aching in umbilical region.
- Borborygmi.
- Violent hunger.
- Frequent want to eat with activity of digestive functions.
- Kidneys - Cutting pain at base of kidneys which allows him neither to sit still nor stand up and even prevents 
turning in bed.
- Urinary tenesmus.
- Frequent want to urinate with difficult emission in a fine stream.
- Strangury, 
urine red.

### Urinary & Genital
- Flow of semen without erection or sexual pleasure for several successive nights.
- Great excitement 
during sex.
- After sex, weakness and great oppression.
- Uterine cancer and tumors.

### Extremities
- Numbness of limbs and paralysis after several sweats.
- Sharp, transient, wandering pains.
- Contusive 
and incisive pain, which hinders walking.
- Abscess at right knee.
- Violent pinching in left calf.
- Tingling crawling 
sensation in whole left foot.
- Lancinations in hand.
- Burning dry ness of palms of han ds.
- Dull pain in joints of 
fingers.
- Rheumatic pain in fingers.

### Neck & Back
- Drawing pain in muscles of neck (left).
- Constant pain in back.
- Sa cral pains, which allow no rest either 
in a standing or sitting posture and which compel the patient to remain in bed.
- Incisive pain in sacrum.
- Pain in 
shoulder blade, which subsequently removes to loins.

### Skin
- Large, flat, itching pustules.
- Badly smelling and offensive night -sweats.
- Peculiarly offensive sweat with 
eruption of vesicles.
- Podagra.
- Erysipelas.
- All hairy parts become denuded.
- Black jaundice.
- Skin red.
- Body 
covered with pustules.
- Miliary eruption.
- Eruption of large pimples.
- Dry tetter causing much itching.

### Sleep
- Sleeplessness during whole night, yawning without inclination to sleep.
