other month. Worse toward night. Worse suppression of hemorrhages or vaginal discharges.

### Vertigo
- Vertigo with sensation as if drunk.

- COMMENTS - “Shepherd’s purse,” said Gerarde, “stayeth bleeding in any part of the body, whether the juice 
or the decoction thereof be drunk or whether it be used poultice-wise or in both or any way else.
- In a clyster it 
cureth the bloody flux, it healeth green and bleeding wounds, it is marvelous good for inflammations new 
beginning and for all diseases which must be checked back and cooled.”  
Gerarde added that the decoction will stop diarrhea, blood -spitting, hematuria and all other fluxes of blood.
- Burnett noted it for the effects of suppressed uterine disease.

- It aided him in the cure of an inveterate case of 
gallstones, the origin of which he traced to the uterus.
- Dudgeon reported the case of a woman who had recovered from jaundice.

uterus was swollen and soft but not ulcerated.

which had an immediate positive effect.

weeks the cure was complete.
- Dudgeon, in an article on Thlaspi., quoted a case of Rademacher’s showing the action of Thlaspi.

- A woman whom Rademacher had relieved ten years before of a large quantity of urinary sand, again presented 
herself; her abdominal cavity was full of water, extremely swollen and she was passing urine of a light red color 
with bloody sediment.

- tincture, 30 drops five times a day, was given solely with the idea of stopping 
the hematuria.
- The result was a more copious discharge of urinary sand than ever before, the urine increased, 
the dropsy disappeared and the woman was cured.
- Dudgeon's own cases are no less strik ing.
- One such case concerned a woman, 76, who had rheumatic 
muscular pains in various parts and an abundant secretion of uric acid, which passed away wi th every 
discharge of urine.
- Sometimes small stones formed and there was much pain in their passage along the ureter, but generally it 
passed in the form of coarse sand, which formed a thick layer at the bottom of the utensil.

- Dudgeon referred to a case of Harper’s illustrating the action of Thlaspi.

- An elderly woman had 
suffered for years from a copious discharge of mucus, pus, sometimes mixed with blood, sometimes nearly all 
blood, which passed from the bowels after each evacuation.
- She had been under high homeopathy, oxygen 
treatment and for a long time under Harper’s care, all without e ffect.
- He then gave Thlaspi.
- tincture in 5 drop 
doses and cured the case in a few days.

- lx, saved a woman who had been curetted several times with little success from a further 
curetting, which was advised as being essential to the cu re.

periods to their proper term and the patient immediately began to recover her strength, which had been drained 
to the last degree.

### Ears
- Deafness and pain in left ear.
- Sensation as if something pushing in right ear.
- Spasmodic drawing from 
right ear to right lower jaw.
- Dry eruptions behi nd the ears.
- Small vesicles, with yellow points, above right ear.
- Scaly eruptions behind ears, with fissures in the fold.
- Sensation as of an insect entering the left ear, making  
buzzing noise, relieved by boring in ear with fingers.

### Face
- Eyes and face puffy.

### Mouth
- Bitter, slimy taste with dryness of mouth.
- Taste like bad eggs.
- Scratchy feeling in the palate.

feels raw, as if from smoking strong tobacco.
- Mouth cracked in right corner and sore.

### Throat

### Chest
- Pulsative pain in left chest.

- Feels large and sore, then throb- bings go up into back of neck.

- Pain left side of apex.
- Kidneys - Chronic cystitis.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Sick, faint feeling in stomach.

- Soreness of prepuce with intense itching or cold sensation (Agar.).
- Menses bright red and profuse.
- Menses too frequent and copious.
- Every alternate period very 
profuse.

- Tearing, gouty pains left leg, worse in forenoon.
- Strained pain in right shoulder.
- Gouty pain in arm.
- Tearing, gnawing pain from elbow to throat.
- Rheumatic pain in left arm and shoulder blade, 
extending to throat.
- Hands tremble when holding anything.
- Swel ling of veins of hand and arm.
- Tearing, 
wrenching pain in left wrist.
- Redness around root of nails.
- Lame feeling in right forefinger.
- Pain in the 
periosteum.
- Liver - Gallstone colic, liver affection being secondary to uterine condition.

### Neck & Back
- Continued pain in small of back.
- Morning backache.
- Wakes with violent pain between the shoulders.
- Weakness between scapula.
- Weakness between shoulders on rising.
- Breasts - Milky water from right nipple.
- Shooting pains in right breast.
- Causations - Suppression of hemorrhages or vaginal discharges.
