## Keynote Indications
Respiratory infections of children, dry nervous asthma, whoop ing cough, severe spasms 
but little sputum. Ringing in ears with feeling of pressure in head. Burning in pharynx, sore throat worse empty 
swallowing, blood vessels distended, dark. 
COMMENTS - Small doses of Thymu. act as a sedative and contra -stimulant, the depressive action being 
preceded by a period of excitation. Large doses dull the nerves and produce motor incoordination and sleep.  
Animals poisoned by Thymu. sleep standing and are insensible to the prick of a pin. 
They have muscular contraction and tremors, vertigo and turning movements.  
Increase of diarrhea, vomiting appears, prostration is extreme, the skin becomes cold and death sets in with 
all the symptoms of a depressant position and with complete anesthesia. These final symptoms are due to the 
thymic acid, which is a camphor.
