## Keynote Indications
A tincture of the fresh blos soms was proved by the Austrian Society. The most striking 
characteristic is “an intense sore feeling about the abdomen and profuse warm sweat which gives no relief.” 
This led to its successful use in cases of peritonitis. 
In addition to this are marked bearingdown symptoms in the whole genito-urinary and rectal regions, especially 
in the uterus and these combined with the others have indicated Til. in puerperal metritis and other disorders 
of the female generative sphere. 
Til. is of value in muscular weakness of the eye. Hemorrhages of thin, pale blood. Puerperal metritis. Disease 
of the antrum (Hydr., Chel.). Intense soreness of the abdo men, uterus. Bearing or dragging down pains in 
genito-urinary and rectal region. Bed feels too hard. Edema. Neuralgia. Rheumatism. The more he sweats 
the greater the pain.

## Modalities (Aggravations / Ameliorations)
Better in cool room. Better from motion, walking about in open air. Better closing eyes. Better 
from coffee. Worse talking, walking, stooping, sneezing. Worse in afternoon and evening. Worse  
cold water, drafts. Worse from sweating, warm room, heat of bed, after sleep. Skin symptoms worse heat of 
bed.

### Vertigo
- Vertigo, with staggering, and like gauze before the eyes.

- COMMENTS - An intense facial neuralgia was developed in the proving and also a very aggravated condition 
of skin irritation with pimples of the lichen order.
- Pains above the root of the nose, nosebleed of thin, pale blood 
which coagulated quickly.
- The left side was most affected.
- Great sensitiveness to draft of air was induced.

### Head
- Neuralgias, first right, then left side, with veil before eyes.
- Confusion with dimness of vision .
- Much 
sneezing with fluent coryza.
- Bleeding from nose.
- Kidneys - Heavy dragging pain in urethra.
- Constant painful pressure on bladder and urethra.
- Frequent, 
copious urination.
- Scanty urine.
- Neuralgias, first right, then left side, with veil before eyes.

### Eyes
- Binocular vision imperfect.
- Sensation as of gauze or a veil before eyes (Calc., Caust., Nat -m.).
- As if a 
piece of cold iron pressed through right eye causing burning.

### Ears
- Stinging in ears.

### Face
- Face pale, or flushed, frequent alternations.
- Cutting pains.
- Sensation of somethin g alive under skin of 
face.
- Quivering of lips.
- Sprained pain in left jaw-point.

### Mouth
- Much mucus in mouth, causing fuzzy feeling,  affecting speech.
- Taste bit ter, bitter -slimy, pasty.
- Stinging pain in all the teeth, worse by cold water.
- Drawing pains in gums.
- Nose - Tickling of nose.
- Much sneezing with fluent coryza.
- Nosebleeds, blood thin and pale, but coagulates 
quickly.
- Perspiration - Sweat warm and profuse soon after falling asleep.
- Sweat increases as rheumatic pains 
increase.

### Throat
- Burning in throat.
- Sensation of swelling of the palate, with desire to swallow, and hoarse voice.
- Tickling 
in palate causing cough.

### Chest
- Oppression.
- Whole chest weak, acute pressure and pinching under ster num.
- Throbs as from a dull 
stitch from thorax to back.
- Bruised pain and swelling.
- Tearing from left pectoralis major to axilla.
- Cough from tickling in throat.
- Tick ling, scraping, irritating, provoking slight cough, especially in left 
side of larynx.
- Fine stitches in larynx, worse talking.
- Hoarseness.
- Frequent sighing.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Bloated abdomen, pains as from incarcerated flatulence, repeated noisy discharges of it, which 
aggravates.
- Peritonitis.
- Soreness with warm sweat which gives no relief.

### Urinary & Genital
- Intense sorefeeling about uterus.
- Bearing-down pains with hot sweat, but without relief.
- Soreness 
and redness of external genitals (Thuj., Sulph.).
- Pelvic inflammation, tympanites, abdominal tenderness and 
hot sweat which does not relieve.
- Much slimy leucorrhea when walking (Bov., Carb -an., Graph.).
- Puer peral 
metritis.

### Extremities
- Trembling, weariness, bruised feeling in limbs.
- Paralytic  heaviness of arms, especially upper arm.
- Heaviness and painful lameness in left shoulder.
- Drawing in small spot left hip while sitting.
- Cramp in left sole.
- Ulcerative pain in ball of left great toe.

### Neck & Back
- Tearing from nape to top of shoulder.
- Stitching, drawing, and heat in right back between liver and 
kidneys.
- Heaviness in sacral and dorsal region.

### Skin
- Urticaria.
- Eruption of small, red itching pimples.
- Violent itching and burning like fire after scratching.

### Sleep
- Yawning, sleepy, exhausted, wor se during pain.
- Sleeplessness with restless ness, Bed seems too 
hard.
- Vivid frightful dreams, bathed in perspiration.
- Sudden wakings.
- Temperature - Profuse warm sweat, soon after falling asleep without relief.

### Generalities
- As if a piece of cold iron pierced through right eye, causing burning.
- Burn ing as if a piece of ice 
were drawn over ear and face.
- As if somet hing living were under skin of face.
- Tearing in anterior muscles of 
thigh, as if they were too short.
