## Keynote Indications
T. C. Duncan and others proved it and elicited some very decided respiratory symptoms, 
dry, tickling cough, oppressed breathing with fever. One peculiar symptom was a cough followed by hiccough. 
Marked salivation. Feeling of fullness with congestion of salivary glands, followed by increased flow of saliva. 
Crusta lactea, dry, scaly crusts. Stiff neck. Feeling as if m umps were coming on. Preventive for mumps and 
cancer. Retards progress of cancerous tumors before ulceration has taken place. Cancerous diathesis.

- Weak and intermittent pulse, later full and bounding.
- Irritation of the pharynx and trachea.
- “Sharp pain through uvula causing tears to start.” Dryness of trachea 
causing him to clear throat of some foreign substance.
- Secretion of urine increased.
- Farrington noted “Hoarseness and choking spells at night with cough, the neck is stiff, cramps in sternomastoid 
muscle better by heat and friction.” 
Cooper said of Trif -p.
- that it causes saliva tion in horses and diarrhea if they eat much of it and that it cu res 
mumps and disorders of the pancreas and salivary glands.
- Hale said it causes “heaves” in horses.
- Felter noted “scaly and ulcerated condi tions of the tibial region of the old.” The symptoms are worse in close 
room, better in open air.
- “When I became ve ry warm with the fever my breathing stopped, lungs felt as if 
breathing hot air.” Worse after sleep.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Griping pains in abdomen and headache.
- Colicky pains all day.

### Extremities
- Hands and feet cold.
- Tingling in palms.
- Tibial ulcers.

### Neck & Back
- Neck stiff, cramp in sterno-cleido muscles, relieved by heat and irritation.
