## Keynote Indications
The pansy was proved by Hahnemann and his provers. Skin, scalp and urinary organs are 
the chief centers of action of Viol-t. The principal uses of this remedy are for eczema in childhood and nocturnal 
emission accompanied by very vivid dreams. Combined urinar y symptoms and skin affection. Nervous 
paroxysms after suppressed crusta lactea, eczema. 
Eczema with urinary disturbances, too copious urination or sudden arrest of secre tion. Tinea capitis with 
frequent involuntary urination. Urine smelling like cat’s ur ine. The male sexual organs were much excited. 
Emissions with vivid dreams occurred, swelling, itching and pains in prepuce and glans with erections.  
Hot face and sweating after eating. Dyspnea after eating. Hands twitch and are clenched in sleep. Nervous 
paroxysms followed suppressed milk -crust. The axil lae and clavicular regions were noticeably affected and 
stitches and burning stitches were prevailing pains. Lying causes anxiety about heart.

## Modalities (Aggravations / Ameliorations)
Open air hel ps headache, but causes chilliness. Aversion to open air. Worse in winter, when 
walking in cold air. Worse 11 a.m. Worse by pressure on side opposite to painful side, lying on non -painful 
 
 
side. Walking causes vertigo, stitches through chest and abdomen. Si tting causes stitches in abdomen and 
groin, standing relieves.

weaned.
- Milk-crust with violent cough and excessive oppression.
- Impetigo of hairy scalp and face in children and adult females.
- Favus and serpiginous crusts in children and 
adults with swelling and induration of cervical glands.
- Large boils all over body in a scrofulous child.
- Pustules 
and ichorous exanthema of feet.

### Eyes

### Face
- Hot and sweating after eating.
- Thick ness and hardness of skin of face.
- Scabs on face with burning 
itching.

### Mouth
- Accumulation of saliva in the mouth with sensation of dryness.
- Tongue loaded with whitish mucus of 
a bitter taste.

### Throat
- Sore throat in evening.
- Swallow ing difficult and very painful.
- Syphilis.
- Swelling of cervical glands.
- Much phlegm, causing hawking, worse in the air.
- Chancroid ulcers.

### Chest
- Syphilitic ulcers on clavicles.
- Shoot ing in chest.
- Stitches in the chest, on the ribs, sternum and 
intercostal muscles.
- Stitches in left side of chest, worse during inspiration and expiration.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Stitches and cutting pain in abdomen with urging to stool, fol- lowed by discharge of lumps of 
mucus and flatulence.
- Pressing, stinging in the diaphragm.

### Urinary & Genital
- Seminal emissions with vivid dreams.
- Involuntary, seminal emissions at stool.
- Swelling of prepuce, 
burning in glans.
- Itching.
- Stitch in region of mons veneris, right side.
- Painful pustules on labia.
- Leucorrhea with stitching pain 
in children in syphilis.
- Chancroid ulcers about breasts.

### Extremities
- Joint rheumatism.
- Itching like eruptions around the joints.

### Neck & Back
- Swelling of glands of neck.
- Spas modic pain and contraction with pinching between shoulder blades 
(with cutting, tingling and crawling in the skin).
- Causations - Suppressed milk-crust (nervous paroxysms).

### Skin
- Eczema of childhood.
- Large boils all over the body in scrofulous children.
- Impetigo.
- Intolerable itching.
- Eruptions, particularly over face and head with burn ing, itching, worse at night.
- Thick scabs, which crack and 
exude a tenacious yellow pus.
- Sycosis.

### Sleep
- Inclination to sleep in afternoon.
- Disturbed sleep with frequent waking.
- Awakens frequently without 
cause.
- Sleep retarded by a concourse of ideas with difficulty in waking in morning.
- Vivid and amorous dreams.
- Temperature - Chill or chilliness in forenoon and in open air.
- Dry, anxious heat at night in bed with red face.
- General heat, especially in face with anxiety, dyspnea immediately after eating.
- Night -sweats.
