It should however be used\nfor two to three months because the glands, once enlarged, do not\nimmediately regress to their normal size.\n\nIn Calcarea Iodide, the ulcers tend to be chronic in nature, much more\nso in Kali Iodide.  In Kali Iodide, the ulcers become indolent.\n\nIn Calcarea Iodide, there is a tendency for hair to fall out .\nUnfortunately, there is no one standard treatment for hair loss.\n\nIt must be remembered that Sulphur is not given after Calcarea Iodide.\nThis can be harmful.  However, Su lphur Iodide give n after Calcarea\nIodide works very well and there is no need for giving any other\nremedy in the intervening period.  The common routine is to give\nLycopodium after Calcarea Carb, th en Sulphur, and then Calcarea\nCarb again.  However, Calcarea I odide can be safely and directly\nfollowed by Sulphur Iodide treatm ent.
