Offen sive, garlic -like odor of the body and sweat. Fishy odors and \ndischarges (Hep., Sanie). Offensive foot sweats (Sil.). Vesicating ef fect on the skin, hair -roots, breasts, \nperineum and anus. Acrid discharge, blisters any part of the skin it touches. \nOtorrhea. Discharge of the ear smells of fish brine. Nash cured several cases of postscarlatina otorrhea using \nTell. 6c, higher potencies had failed. Eyelids are inflamed. Phlyctenular conjunctivitis. Itching in the rectum \nafter stool. Threadworms. \nGreat sensitiveness to touch. Neuralgic hypersensitive state of the spine. Painful spots along the spinal cord \n(Agar.). Injuries to the spine and pelvic bones. Radiating pain down both thighs from an injury to the sacroiliac \narea. Pains are shar p and radiat ing, or electric -like. Contractures. Pressing pain in the scapula. Neuralgic \nsymptoms, especially on the right side. \nSciatica. Sciatic pain deep in the leg, behind the knee. Herniated disks (Aesc, Agar.). Sacro -iliac problems \nwith radiating pains (Aesc, Hyper.). Worse lying on the affected part, from touch, worse in C7 to T5 and in the \nSacro-iliac joint. \nMany of the pains and symptoms come and go suddenly. The ears are suddenly stopped. Sudden rushes of \nblood to the head. Drowsiness. Yawning after retching, drowsy after eating. \nClarke once gave Tell, to a child for an eruption and cured it incidentally of constant yawning with which it had \n \n \nbeen troubled. The eruption improved at the same time. \nClarke also cured with Tell, an Indian officer home on furlough whose body was covered over with a ringworm-\nlike eruption. \nKent had a case in which a boy, 4, slid down banisters and struck his head on a tiled floor. He became \nunconscious and a surgeon was summoned, who found him unconscious with a clear, w atery discharge from \nthe ear, which the surgeon pronounced to be cerebrospinal fluid. \nThis condition lasted three days and the case had been pronounced hopeless when Kent first saw the boy. \nKent noticed that the discharge was acrid and reddened whatever pa rt it came in contact with. One dose of \nTell, was given. In two hours the child vomited, a sign of reaction, and in two weeks was well.  \nShelton related three cases using Tell. The first concerned a widow, 50, who had pain and soreness in the \nupper part of her back for a long time. She shrank from the slightest touch on the part. The sensitiveness was \nso acute that, when touched, the pain extended into the occiput and all over the upper region of the back. Tell. \n6c cured in eighteen days. \nThe second case concerned Miss X., 45, who had a fall, striking a severe blow on the sacrum. She suffered \nfor some weeks from concussion with one point of great soreness in the sacral region, just above the spot \nwhere the blow was received. She was kept in bed for some weeks  and improved generally, but the painful \nspot remained and sensitiveness \nappeared over the back, especially its upper third. Tell. 6c cured all completely.  \nThe third case concerned Miss Y., 29, who had severe spinal meningitis ten years before, and consult ed \nShelton for a burning, pressing pain at base of brain. He diagnosed the condition as meningitis. The patient \ngrew worse and gradually ptosis, and then right and then left hemiplegia set in.  \nFinally hyperesthesia of the back became so distressing that it  was a question of finding any support that did \nnot intensify the pain. She could not bear the slightest touch, complaining that it not only hurt her at the point \nof contact, but that she felt it in the head and in remote parts of the body. Tell, cleared up the case.\nTemperature - Inner shivering and fever, fetid, repulsive sweating, forcing him to be alone. Chilly with pains. \nSweat on face, on spots, with increased itching of these places, often throbbing through whole body, generally \nwarm, while sitting in a cool breeze. Skin hot and dry, sensation as if overstrained, as if bruised, as if he had \ntaken cold after severe exertion. Fullness and oppression in hypogastrium, clothing must be loosened. Pressing first left, then right \nside, as from wind. When lying on left side, throbbing under right ribs, and vice versa. Pinching in abdomen. \nFrequent spasmodic pains in bowels as from incarcerated wind, mostly from 5 to 9 p.m. Craving for apples, fatty bacon, salt, bread during the evening, cold drinks, beer.
