## Keynote Indications
Source: Derived from aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), a mineral compound processed for homeopathic. use, commonly referred to as Alumina. Traditional Context : Historically used in homeopathy for  neurological, gastrointestinal, and. skin disorders  characterized by dryness, slowness, and weakness, particularly in the elderly or. those with chronic debility. It is noted for mental symptoms like confusion, indecision, and memory. impairment, alongside physical symptoms such as constipation, dry skin, and motor dysfunction. Modern Context: Indicated for functional neurological disorders, chronic constipation, xerosis. (dry skin) , and  mild cognitive impairment , often with a pattern of  systemic sluggishness  or. neuropsychiatric decline. It suits patients with chronic, slow-progressing conditions, marked by. dryness,  weakness,  and  psychological  symptoms  like  indecision  or  low  mood,  frequently. exacerbated by environmental or emotional stressors.
COMMENTS - The Alumn. patient is very sensitive to cold, exposure to air roughens and chaps the skin. Slight 
scratches bleed. Bleeding after tooth extraction. Catarrhal conditions prevail throughout.  
Sensations of dryness and contraction. Contractive sensation in abdomen and pelvis and retraction of 
abdomen as in lead colic. Paralytic states with the sensation as if bound with a tight band. 
Tendency to indurations whenever inflam mations occur. Scirrhus indurations, indurat ed glands. Pains are 
insupportable. Attacks come and go suddenly, periodically. 
Many complaints come on during sleep, like nightmares. Turning on right side improves the vertigo. Lying on 
right side brings on palpitations. There is sensitiveness to all sorts of weather changes and especially to cold. 
W. P. Wesselheft cured bronchitis char acterized by scrap ing from upper sternum to throat with free 
expectoration of thick, yellow mucus, paroxysmal cough, morning cough with gagging.  
Aching in chest and in the lower part of the back in region of lower ribs. Profuse expectoration with a scraping 
pain, for scraping coughs are usually dry. All-c. had helped the preliminary sneezing and coryza.
Temperature - Chill during nausea. Cold ness followed by headache. Coldness of skin followed by heat and 
tingling. Coldness during pain in stomach, followed by heat with rush of blood to head, can hardly hold it up. 
Furious delirium. Fever with intense thirst, nausea, etc. Internal heat throughout body. Heat in forehead. 
Warmth creeps over abdomen. Colic worse by walking, with fullness and heaviness. Potter's colic, lead colic. Abdomen retracted, 
better from pressure. Contractive sensation deep in pelvis with complaints of rectum and bladder. Appetite increased, even with fullness in stomach. Loathes food. Emaciation. Thirst, throat dry and 
increased appetite with heat in stomach, bett er by drinking cold water, intense with fever. Mouth dry, but no 
increase of thirst.
