## Keynote Indications
Source: Derived from calcium phosphate (Ca₃(PO₄)₂), typically prepared from bone ash or mineral. sources,  processed  for  homeopathic  use  through  trituration,  serial  dilution,  and  succussion  to. eliminate toxicity and enhance therapeutic action. Traditional Context: Historically employed in homeopathy for growth, bone, and developmental. disorders, particularly those involving weak bones, delayed healing, and mental restlessness. It is. noted for symptoms such as growing pains, fractures, teething difficulties, and dissatisfaction, often. aggravated by cold, damp weather, mental exertion, or puberty, and ameliorated by warmth, rest, or. dry weather. Modern  Context:  Indicated  for  musculoskeletal  conditions (e.g.,  rickets,  osteoporosis),. developmental  issues (e.g.,  delayed  milestones,  learning  difficulties),  dental  problems (e.g.,. delayed  dentition,  caries),  respiratory  conditions (e.g.,  chronic  rhinitis,  tonsillitis),  and. psychological disorders (e.g., attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, adjustment disorder). It suits. patients  with  acute  or  chronic  symptoms  characterized  by  bone  weakness,  delayed  growth,. respiratory sensitivity , or  mental restlessness , typically exacerbated by cold, damp conditions,. growth spurts, or emotional stress, and often seen in individuals with a history of developmental. delays, frequent infections, or poor nutrition. The remedy is particularly relevant for those with a. thin, sensitive constitution, often presenting with physical symptoms like joint pain, slow healing,. or recurrent colds alongside emotional traits like irritability, discontent, or inattention, commonly. observed in growing children, adolescents, or adults with chronic musculoskeletal or psychological. complaints.
COMMENTS - Affects the parathyroid glands, which affect calcium metabolism. Paget's disease, Osgood -
Schlatter disease, osteoporosis, osteomyelitis, acute or chronic (Calc.). Brittle bones.  
In a case of osteogenesis imperfecta, Calc -p. lessened the frequency o f broken bones and helped to 
strengthen the bones. Helps to heal broken bones (Symph., Calc fl if the broken bone begins to decay). For 
both remedies, make sure that the bones are correctly set before giving the remedy.  
For problems associated with bony structures, calcium deficiency related to bone, bone marrow problems and 
anemia. Defective bone growth, bones thin and brittle. Brittled matrix. Lack of structure and cohesiveness, 
curvatures (Calc., Sil.). 
Flat feet and feet that are turning in too much (Calc.). Growing pains. Slow bone growth, fontanelles not closing 
properly. Scoliosis, weak tender feet. Stiffness on the neck and knees. Teething delayed and painful.  
Children with a lot of glandular problems, adenoid and tonsils problems. Stunted growth. En largement of 
tonsils, acute and chronic. Tumor of the parathyroid gland, hyperparathyroidism.  
Useful in cases of fistula and when fistula has been operated on with the symptoms appearing elsewhere. 
Fistula alternating with chest symptoms. 
Shortness of brea th. Involuntary sighing. Contraction of chest and difficult breathing, evening until 10 p.m., 
better lying down, worse getting up. Constant stretching and yawning. Crying out in sleep. Cannot get awake 
in morning. 
Keynote moaning. Moaning in fevers. Children that are peevish and have chronic discontent. Hyperactive, 
 
 
hard to please, irritable, emaciated, and scrawny. Sunken features and blue circles around the eyes.  
There is a weak, sinking sensation in the hypogastr ium and a sinking, empty feeling in the epigastrium. Poor 
assimilation problems, may have poor nutrition. Rickets, thin and weak. Flabby stomach (Bar -c.. is hard). Ag-
gravation from fruits, resulting in diarrhea. 
Prolapsed uterus, worse during stool or uri nation. Aching in uterus, cutting through to sacrum. Cream -like 
leucorrhea. Burning in vagina with pain on both sides of the bladder and uterus, burning like fire up into chest. 
Flushes of heat and faintness, sweats easily. Profuse sweats (less than Sep.).  Menses are profuse and the 
patient is weak and tubercular. 
Nymphomania, all organs in erection with irresistible desire, particularly before menses. Voluptuous feeling, 
as if all the parts were filled with blood, pulses in all the parts with increased desire after urination. 
Grauvogl considered it the most important remedy in chronic hydrocephalus and he gave it as a prenatal 
remedy during pregnancy to women who had previously borne hydrocephalic children.  
Chills, run upward. Hering states: ‘ The chills r un up the back, terrible muscular jerks in body, which almost 
throw him out of his chair.” Cold sensation in the limbs as if cold water poured over them, creeping numbness 
pains and coldness, electric-like shooting pains. Very sensitive to draft. Worse fro m cold, wet weather. Every 
exposure increases the rheumatic pains and uterine distress. 
Etiologies include a large stress resulting in a decrease of vital energy, like grief, separation, death. They may 
get sick after not enough sleep (Cocc.). Slow to lea rn, due to structural problem (Bar -c., neurologi cal). 
Headaches worse from studying and concentration.
Temperature - Easily chilled. Chilly with pains. Chills up the back, but heat down the back. Fever with dentition. 
Dry fever, in evening, hot breath, noticeable beating of heart, mouth and tongue without thirst, yawning, 
stretching. Colic, soreness and burning around navel. Colic, at every attempt to eat, by taking ice cream, 
cold water or fruits. Child suffers from colic after every feeding. Cutting, pinching, sharp pains, followed by 
diarrhea. Flatulent colic. Bellyache better passing wind, after stool or after leucorrhea. Griping pain and 
rumbling in bowels before menses. Burning pain in abdomen. Sunken and flabby. Aching soreness and pain 
around navel, better passing fetid flatus. Oozing of bloody fluid from navel of infants. Festering navel. Empty, 
 
 
sinking sensation around navel, or in whole abdomen. Mo tion in abdomen, as of something alive. Abdominal 
wall as if numb . Abdominal wall quivering or aching. Warm feeling in groins. Pressure and soreness in left 
side. Weak, sinking feeling in abdomen, with leucorrhea. Capricious, changeable appetite. Ravenous or wanting appetite. Desir es chocolate, coffee, sweets, 
sugar, fat, eggs, butter, cheese, cream, milk, ham fat, bacon, and smoked meat. Desires raw potatoes and 
onions, garlic, vinegar, fruit, soup, salt and pepper, spicy foods, farinaceous food, food that makes him 
worse. Aversion to soup, sweets, fat. butter, eggs, ice cream, rich foods, alcoholic drinks, coffee, meat, salty 
food, and fruit. Aggravated from alcoholic drinks, wine, coffee, milk, eggs, fat, meat, fruit, rich food, salty things; 
sweets. Thirst for large quantities. Desires cold drinks, cold milk, warm drinks, alcoholic drinks, wine.
