It is related\nto the diseases of the kidney , though it is not very commonly used.\nOne of its most prominent symptoms  is the presence of excessive\namounts of salts in the urine and the formation of sediments, which\nsettle in the form of a thick white layer.  Besides this, the patient may\nstart passing blood in th e urine (haematuria), sm all stones or crystals,\nwhich injure the urethra and caus e severe burning pain.  For these\nsymptoms, Hydrangea is very useful .  Passing reddish coloured urine,\na burning sensation, and the presence of gravel in the urine, are also\nfound in Lycopodium.  Hydrangea is al so very useful in the treatment\nof senile enlargement of the prostate.
