It suits. patients with acute or chronic symptoms characterized by  acrid discharges ,  bleeding,  burning. pains, dental decay, or weakness, typically exacerbated by cold, rest, or menses, and often seen in. individuals  with  chronic  inflammatory  or  degenerative  conditions.  The  remedy  is  particularly. relevant for those with a chilly, debilitated constitution, often presenting with physical symptoms. like corrosive leucorrhea or bleeding gums alongside systemic symptoms like exhaustion or weight. loss, commonly observed in patients with bacterial vaginosis, periodontal disease, or malignancy-. associated cachexia triggered by infection, hormonal changes, or systemic decline.\nCOMMENTS - A remedy for decomposition of tissue or rotting away of flesh (Pyrog., Carb -an.). Discharges \nare brownish, yellow, and very offensive, a carrion -like odor, cadaver -like odor, putrid, like rotten flesh. \nTendencies toward bacterial infections. Tendency to hemorrhage. \nStomach and uterine cancers, gangrene, and injuries where the tissue decomposes and smells putrid. Breath \nor discharges that smell of rotting flesh. Cadaverous -smelling stools. Emaciation with deco mposition. History \nof use in typhoid. \nIntermittent fevers, marked periodicity. According to Grauvogl, Kreos. has a short period of action, one or two \ndays. He noted the incompatibility in intermittents. Chin., which has a period of two to three weeks, may be \ngiven after Kreos., but not Kreos. after Chin. \nMarked burning and stitching pains. Lupus of nose with burning pains. Chronic pneumonia with pain like red -\nhot coals in the chest. Pain and stiffness across hips and sacrum, at 7 a.m. sitting up in bed, continuing through \nthe day. Knees give way and joints crack, particularly in the overweight. \nGuernsey noted that Kreos. particularly affects the inner temples, external ears and lobe of the ear. Chronic \nheadache accompanied with great drowsiness, with moaning in their sleep. \nIntense itching. General sensitiveness to touch and contact. Large purulent blisters on concha of both ears \nwith a red base like smallpox pustules. Small warts on the scalp after a headache. W. P. Wesselheft noted the \nindication of coarse, red, elevated acne pimples. \nClarke used it for toothache cases where the teeth are decayed, especially if the gums are scorbutic. Foul \nbreath. Useful for infections, abscesses and a bad taste after a pulled tooth. Teeth decay, fall out, with swollen \ngums that bleed easily (Staph., Merc.). Gums are dark red or blue and very painful. Pyorrhea.  \nNash noted the specific action on children, <K$e& \\31ty dwimg dmitm. Paw\u00c1Al dentition. Useful for teeth that \ncome in rotten and brown, then break. Teste observed that it acted well on infants in the cradle, particularly for \ncongenital syphilis. \nTeste emphasized a discharge of fetid pus from the nostrils. Hoarseness is better by sneezing. Cough compels \nsitting up all night, causes involuntary urination. Eye symptoms alternate with drawing in the limbs. \nIncessant vomiting, due to stomach weak ness, inability to digest and rejection of a meal hours after it was \neaten. Vomiting sweetish water during pregnancy, with pty - alism. Incessant vomiting with cadaverous stools \nin malignant disease of the stomach. Cholera infantum. \nNocturnal bedwetting from too profound sleep, child cannot be awakened when taken up. Bedwetting when \nthe urine smells foul, offensive (Benz-ac.). Prostate and bladder irritation during night. Frequently rises to pass \nvery little urine, urine comes in a spray. Sudden, great urging, the patient cannot go quickly enough. Copious, \npale urine. \nComplaints after menstruation or menopause. Foul smelling vaginitis where the chief complaint is the odor and \nnot itching or burning. Guernsey notes the putrid leucorrhea, especially when it's fetid and exhausting.  \nDischarge stains the clothing yellow or brown. Leucorrhea is better sitting, worse standing and walking. Foul \nand offensive lochia after childbirth. \nSufferings from the non -appearance of menses, at menopause. General symptoms are worse after \nmenstruation, during leucor- rhea, when yawning. \nGrauvogl cured with Kreos. 3x a young woman, 20, of suppression of menses with a concomitant state of \nimbecility. \nIn another woman who had suppressed menses with tertian intermittent fever, the intermittent was cured with \n \n \nChin-s. one grain four times a day and then Grauvogl, hearing for the first time of the suppression of the \nmenses, gave Kreos. 3x with the result that the fever returned in full force. \nQuinine was again given and the fever again disappeared. Before the next period, as the patient was of the \nNux-v. type, that remedy was given and the period was reestablished. \nGentry recorded a case of a woman, 45, on visiting a  friend ill with dysentery, was struck by the odor, went \nhome, commenced to vomit, and vomited all food or drink and continued without ceasing, vomiting or retching \nfor three weeks, being fed by the rectum all the time. She was greatly emaciated and had to be held up by the \nnurse. \nOne dose of Kreos. 200c was given. In twenty minutes the retching ceased. The patient fell asleep, had no \nmore vomiting and rapidly recovered. Up to this time she had been under allopaths, who advised that \nhomeopathy should be tried, as they could do no more. \nJames H. Freer cured a woman, over 80, who suffered from incontinence of urine during bronchial attacks, \nwhich compelled her to keep to bed. \nVillers had reported a case of incontinence, worse when lying down, that was cured b y Kreos. This led Freer \nto the remedy, which rapidly cleared up the case, bronchitis and all. Freer also cured incontinence in a case \nof locomotor ataxia in a man, 74, with Kreos. 6c. \nAn allopathic authority, Vladimir de Holstein of Paris, accidentally cured aggravated constipation in a chlorotic \ngirl with 6 drop doses of Kreos., given in beer or milk. \nHe gave it with the idea of \u201cdisinfecting\u201d the intestines. \nMeredith cured with it a young woman, 17, of intense urethral scalding after urina tion. \nCooper cured with Kreos. 30c a case of auditory vertigo in a patient with pegged teeth. No other medicine \nwould touch the case. It is also frequently called for in acquired syphilis, especially in the skin manifestations. \nKreos. cured at the same time constipation of ten to twelve days' duration. \nHarmar Smith cured a girl, 10, of very frequent and violent eructation, she was apparently healthy in other \nrespects. Bell, and Puls, did no good. Arg-n., aggravated. Kreos. 2x at once did good and cured in a few days.\nTemperature - Predominance of cold, tendency to shiver. Thirst after shiverings.
