He becomes irritated about minor  things and despises others.\nConsidering himself to be the most important person, he remains\nalways fearful of danger to his life.   This state of his mind changes\nhim physically also.  The patient is  always scared that something\nharmful is going to happen to him.\n\nIn a Platinum patient, the heart beats fast, the limbs tremble and soon,\nfear of death overtakes him.  The patient is a religious fanatic.  The\nfemale patient thinks of herself an alien.  All these are the symptoms\nof insanity, which ultimately l eads to more severe form.  The sexual\ntrends of Platinum resemble those of  Hyoscyamus.  The patient has\nspasm of muscles with convulsions.   The convulsions slowly become\nworse, affecting the muscles.  Th e skin becomes numb.  The bleeding\nis of dark reddish colour.  The nose bleeds in the form of dark clots.\nThere is cramping at the root of the nose, which is very painful.  The\naffected area feels caught in a vice.  The patient feels a neuralgic type\nof pain on the face.  The bones feel insensitive.\n\nIf the ovaries become inflamed , and the patient ha s been unable to\nconceive for a long time and there is heightened sexual urge without\nany apparent reason, then Platinum ma y be kept in mind to treat this\ncondition.\n\nIf the sterility is due to an excessive leucorrhoeal discharge, then\nBorax is the remedy of choice.  In Platinum, the symptoms of other\ndiseases of the uterus  are also found i.e. hard ening of the uterus, the\ntendency to develop fibr oids and the downward sagging of the uterus\nwith excessive bleeding.  The bleedi ng is usually dark in colour, with\nthe formation of blood clots.  The menstrual bleeding starts before it is\ndue.  This symptom is very common.  However, if the other symptoms\nof Platinum are present, then Platinum will prove to be a promptly\neffective remedy.\n\nStomach conditions like excessive formati on of gas and nausea, are\nalso common in Platinum.  The pati ent feels very uncomfortable and\nrestless.  The motions are intermittent and small.  The patient feels\nexhausted.\n\nIn Platinum, the symptoms of the disease become worse in the\nevening and on sitting as well as standing.
