On ingesting\ndecomposed meat,  either a person catches high fever, becomes\ndisorientated and then dies, or keeps suffering from its ill effects for a\nlong time.\n\nPyrogenium has been so frequently referred to in this book that the\nreader may think that he has alr eady read about it.   Here, it is\ndescribed briefly.\n\nIn a Pyrogenium patient, the disc harges are extremely foul and\npoisonous, producing high fever, even death.  It is a very powerful\npanacea for puerperal sepsis i.e. the fever developing after childbirth\ndue to the infection and putrefaction of the retained placental contents\nin the uterus.  It is extremely effective in curing this dreadful and\npotentially fatal condition.  If Sulphur 200 is used in combination with\nPyrogenium 200, it works even better.\n\nLike Arsenic, it can also be of use in the treatment of influenza\ncomplicated by severe weakness and restlessness .  Arsenic and\nPyrogenium given together work much better in invigorating the\nweakness.  The same prescr iption stands high in the treatment of\ndiarrhoea and dysentery asso ciated with foul smell .  All sorts of\ncatarrhal fevers associated with chills, putrefaction and restlessness\ncan be satisfactorily treated with Pyrogenium, Bacillinum and Natrum\nMur.  In Pyrogenium, like Phosphorus, there is intense thirst for cold\nwater.  The cold water soon beco mes warm inside the stomach and\ninduces vomiting.  The Pyrogenium pa tient is very cold deep down to\nthe bones, yet likes to drink cold water.  In this condition, Pyrogenium\nshould be mixed with Phosphorus.\n\nPyrogenium is also useful in combating bad breath .  If the patient\nalso feels very cold, then Psorinum should be added to Pyrogenium.\n\nI have found the combination of Pyrogenium 200 and Typhoidinum\n200 very useful in the treatment of all typhoid patients.  My late\nfather also used Pyrogenium in  the treatment of typhoid.  Most\nprobably it is he who invented this particular combination.  In addition\nto Pyrogenium and Typhoidinum, Kali Phos 6X and Ferrum Phos 6X\nshould be given seven to eight times a day.  If a patient passes odorous\nstools, then Baptisia 30 should also be included, seven to eight times a\nday.\n\nPyrogenium is also effective against malaria, which is untreatable\nwith common remedies.  The patient feels severe chills and is restless\nlike Arsenic and the discharges are extremely foul smelling.\n\nIn cattle also, Pyrogenium 200 and Sulphur 200 are equally effective\nin the treatment of puerperal fever following retention of the placenta\nand its infection.\n\nPyrogenium is also useful in the treatment of inflammation of the\nkidneys (nephritis).   Once it becomes known that the patient had\npreviously suffered from puerperal fever, causing damage to the\nkidneys, Pyrogenium will be found very effective.\n\nAnother symptom of Pyrogenium is th at in spite of the high fever, the\npulse rate  is relatively slow.  This conf licting type of heart rate is\ntypical of Pyrogenium.\n\nIf the symptoms of Pyrogenium al ready mentioned are present, then\nPyrogenium may be useful in the treatment of all kinds of skin\ndiseases of the patient.  Pyrogenium being basically related to the\nvenous blood, the patient may develop piles, which can become\ninfected and then putrefied.  Pyr ogenium is also useful in the\ntreatment of a resistant type of offensive vomiting.  If the\nconstitutional symptoms of Pyr ogenium are present, then broncho-\npneumonia and other infec tions of the lungs can also be satisfactorily\ntreated with it.\n\nAdjuvants: Bryonia, Sulphur, Arsenic, Typhoidinum, etc.\nPotency:  30 to CM","modalities":"","symptoms_by_system":[],"schema_version":"1.0","api_provider":"Allahshafi"}
