## Keynote Indications
Sanie, has sometimes been confused with the plant Sanicula mary- landica. or black snake-
root. The water is odorless and colorless, and has an agreeable and slightly alkaline taste.  
Sherbino proved Sanie, in the potencies and a large  number of the symptoms of the provings have been 
confirmed. It’s a polycrest and anti-psoric of wide range. Guernsey considered Sanie, the chronic of Cham. 
Sanie, affects the nutrition, female organs, rectum, neck and skin. Useful for bedwetting, seasickness, motion 
sickness, constipation, etc. Rickets. Marasmus. Thick, acrid, yellow pus. Body smells like old cheese. 
Bursting in perineum, bowels, bladder, vertex, chest. Shifting pains. Cannot bear to have one part touch 
another or cannot lie near another person. Enlarged feeling in throat, vagina etc. Child kicks off covers at night, 
wants to lie on something hard though thin. Clothes feel cold, damp.
COMMENTS - Itching skin, eczema, worse bathing (Sil.). Sweaty, smelly feet, particu larly in children (Sil.). 
Fear of the dark, sensitivity to storms (Phos.). Children are very obstinate, stubborn, hard to please.  
Offensive vaginal discharges that smell like fish brine or dead fish (Hep.). Strong fishy odor in hemoph ilis, 
gardnerella and 
Sanícula aqua trichomonas. Discharge can also smell like rotten cheese.
Temperature - The cold air chills him. Chill every day at same time. Whole body feels too hot at night. Begins 
to sweat as soon as covered.  Sticky sweat, particularly on side lain on. High fever every night with 
sleeplessness. Bowels bloated as if they would burst. Sore pains in groin. Loud gurgling, pot -bellied children. Child wants to nurse all the time, yet loses flesh. Craves, salt, bacon or ic e cold milk. Eating causes 
urging for stool, must leave the table. Feels better after eating. Great longing for the spring water. Thirst little 
and often.

### Eyes

### Ears
- Eustachian catarrh.

### Face

### Mouth

transparent, stringy saliva when teething.

### Throat
- Dry throat.

- Tongue - Sides of tongue turn up.

### Chest
- Tickling under sternum.
- Great soreness of upper chest, must hold it with hands when coughing.
- Constitutions - Patients are thin and look old, especially children.
- Asthmatic breathing, worse after supper.
- Wheezing, rattling under sternum, worse during or after 
eating.
- Deep, hollow cough with loud rattling, caused by tickling under sternum.
- Tickling on lying down at night 
and on waking.
- Rattling cough, child gags and vomits a mouthful of tough, stringy matter.
- Expectoration of 
large, yellow, cheesy masses.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Bloating of stomach on beginning to eat.
- Sensation of a lump in stomach.
- Thirst little and often, 
water is vomited as soon as it reaches the stomach.
- Sour, rancid, burning belchings.
- Nausea after eating with 
sick feeling, better from smoking.
- Vomiting of milk soon after nursing.

### Extremities
- Pain in shoulders, worse rais ing arms or putting them behind back.

- Cramps in feet.
- Foul foot sweat, chafes toes, destroys shoes or stiffens the hose.
- Liver - Soreness through hepatic region.
- Enlargement of liver, sensitive to pressure and jar.

### Neck & Back
- Neck weak and emaciated, child cannot hold its head.
- Stiff backache, worse least turning, raising arms 
or putting hands behind him.
- Must turn whole body to look around.
- Sits, head forward, to ease the pain.
- Cold 
lumbar spine.
- Lumbago, better lying on right side.
- Lumbar vertebras as if dislocated or were gliding past each 
other.

- Causations - Poor diet, strains.

### Skin
- Eczema exuding sticky fluid, behind ears, on wrists, fingers and toes.
- Itching, worse by scratching.
- Skin 
is dry, brownish, flabby.
- Skin about neck wrinkled and hangs in folds.
- Copper-colored syphilitic sores.
- Fissured 
hands and fingers.
- Cracks on fingers.
- Tendency to small boils that do not mature.

### Sleep
- Falls asleep after vomiting.
- Frequent waking at night.
- Dreams of robbers and cannot sleep until the 
whole house is searched.
- Dreams of murder and remorse, lascivious dreams.
- On waking, child rubs eyes and 
nose with its fist.
