## Keynote Indications
Found in grapes, pineapple, sorrel and other fruits. Tart-ac. is an anti-scor- butic anti-septic, 
stimulating the mucus and salivary secretions. 
Extreme weakness. In evening feels very tired, can scarcely drag himself along. Gen eral bruised sensation, 
especially of lower limbs. Convulsions just before death.
COMMENTS - A proving by Nenning and some poisonings have furnished the pathogenesis of T art-ac. One 
of the most marked symptoms was intense burning in throat and stomach, feeling “as if on fire.” Tongue brown 
and dry. Almost constant vomiting, vomited matter of deep green color. Feces coffee -ground color. 
Dullness andlassitude. Paralytic debility. “Weakness in the evening, can scarcely drag himself along.” Difficult 
respiration. Great weakness with diarrhea with dry and brown tongue. “Tearing pain on the soles of the feet, 
near the heel, which prevents him putting his foot on the ground after luncheon” (Phyt.).
Temperature - General cold feeling, evening in bed. Pain around umbilicus and region of loins. Pinching below navel with emission of flatulence, cold 
feeling in abdomen. Excessive, very urgent thirst.

## Modalities (Aggravations / Ameliorations)
Better in open air. Pasty taste is better after eating.

## Symptoms by System

### Vertigo
- Confusion in head, dizziness.

### Face
- Face instantly became red as fire and having exclaimed that he was poisoned, became speechless, 
died on tenth day (drank 2 oz.
- in solution).
- Lips, turn brown and black on their inner edges.
- Constant dryness 
of lips, must moisten them continually.
- Burning of lips.

### Mouth
- Teeth set on edge.
- Brown and dry tongue.
- Taste, pasty in morning, ceases on eating.

### Throat
- Hoarseness and scraping in larynx.
- Burning sensation in throat and stomach as if on fire.

### Chest
- Very weak action of the heart.
- Feeble pulse.
- Breathing accelerated, then laborious and slow.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Dyspepsia with copious secretion of mucus.
- Belchings.
- Nausea.
- Vomiting is repeated and almost 
continuous.
- Continued vomiting with burning in throat and stomach.
- Vomited deep green matter.

### Extremities
- Sharp pain in region of loins.
- Paralysis of thighs and legs.
- Tearing pains at soles, near the heel, which 
prevents him setting his foot on the ground after luncheon.

### Sleep
- Frequent yawning and stretching.
