Potts of the Uni versity of Pennsylvania, contributed a pa per to The Gazette,
Dec., 1895, on the remedy, giving several cases.

T., male, aged thirteen years.
Idiopathic epilepsy, had his first spell five years ago, averaged one paroxysm
daily.
Sol-c was first given in 10 drops doses without effect.
When incre ased to 25 drops, the spells were
lighter in severity, but occurred about as often.
The dose was finally increased to a teaspoonful four times daily.
After being put upon this dose he was under
observation six weeks during which time he had six seizures much lighter in severity.

H., male, aged twenty-eight years.
He had epileptic seizures for three years, following an injury to the head
which rendered him unconscious, but produced no other visible injury.
Since this, however, had almost
constant headache.
The first spell was six months after the injury and have been frequent after, averaging
three to four weekly, of an ordinary type.
Sol-c in 40-drops doses three times daily was given, the spells at once decreased in frequency and severity.
During the last six weeks he was under observation he only had three spells, very mild in type.

one year ago, have since occurred every two weeks, good deal of headache.

day.
No spells for one month and headache ceased.
He then stopped attendance.

First spell when thirteen years old, had one spell a month at the time of
her menstrual period.
About a week before her next period, she was given Sol -c.
40 drops three times a day
and escaped the usual spell.
The following month however, she had one.

Nocturnal epilepsy forpast three years, about one spell a month.
While

40 drops three times a day, went three weeks longer than usual without a spell.
The dose was

First spell five weeks before her visit, had been having them daily since.
