Cactus grandiflorus
Night-Blooming Cereus
Cactus grandiflorus is suited for patients presenting with cardiovascular, respiratory, psychological, and neurological conditions, primarily affecting the heart, lungs, nervous system, and emotional state, marked by constrictive chest pain, palpitations, dyspnea, and anxiety. Cardiovascular symptoms include angina-like chest pain, irregular heartbeats, or a sensation of heart constriction, resembling angina pectoris or arrhythmias, worse with exertion, lying on the left side, or emotional stress. Respiratory symptoms involve shortness of breath or wheezing, resembling asthma or pulmonary edema, worse with heat or confined spaces. Psychological symptoms feature anxiety, fear of death, or panic, resembling panic disorder or generalized anxiety disorder, worse at night or during cardiac symptoms. Neurological symptoms include headaches or neuralgic pains, resembling migraines or trigeminal neuralgia, worse with heat or exertion. Systemic symptoms include fatigue, heat intolerance, and a sense of oppression, resembling post- cardiac exhaustion, worse after exertion or emotional stress. The remedy is highly relevant for acute or chronic conditions with a strong cardiovascular and psychological component, commonly observed in individuals with heart disease, respiratory issues, or stress-induced anxiety.
