Traditional Context: Historically employed in homeopathy for neurological, psychological,.
musculoskeletal, and constitutional disorders , particularly those involving restlessness, nervous exhaustion, and spasmodic symptoms.
It is noted for symptoms such as trembling, twitching, and aggravation from suppressed eruptions, often worsened by mental exertion, noise, or evening, and ameliorated by motion, warmth, or discharges (e.g., eruptions, menses).
Modern Context: Indicated for neurological conditions (e.g., restless legs syndrome, peripheral neuropathy), psychological conditions (e.g., generalized anxiety disorder, depression),.
musculoskeletal conditions (e.g., muscle spasms, fibromyalgia), and constitutional conditions.
(e.g., chronic fatigue syndrome, neurasthenia).
